Solutions Reporting at ICFP

At the seventh International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP 2025), the Family Planning News Network (FPNN) assembled a dynamic team of Solutions Reporters — curious, creative voices to help capture the ideas, innovations, and solutions shaping the future of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Their mission was simple: listen, ask questions, and share what’s working in SRHR from scientific sessions and other conference events. Too often at large gatherings, this spirit of inquiry and reflection is lost amid busy schedules and competing priorities. Using the Solutions Journalism approach—which emphasizes reporting on responses to challenges rather than focusing solely on the problems—these reporters are shining a light on what’s driving progress.
