Soyoltuya Bayaraa is a Coordination Adviser on Youth and Demographic Dividend at the Technical Division of UNFPA Headquarters in New York, where she focuses on evidence and advocacy for multisectoral policies and investments in young people, including sexual and reproductive health and rights. Soyoltuya has over 20 years of work experience with UNFPA in different capacities, including in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to current assignment, Soyoltuya served in China, where she headed UNFPA programme focused on policy engagement, evidence generation, strategic communication and South-South and Trilateral Cooperation. Prior to joining UNFPA, Soyoltuya worked at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. Soyoltuya holds a Medical Doctor’s degree from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the State University of New York/SUNY, Albany.
