Plan International’s goal is for children, adolescents and young people in all their diversity to have control of their lives and bodies, and make decisions about their sexuality, free from discrimination, coercion or violence. This includes whether, when and with whom to have sex, marry and have a child.

We prioritise investments in:

  1. Tackling child marriage and FGM/C and supporting girls at risk.
  2. Supporting positive sexuality education and dialogue
  3. Strengthening quality adolescent and gender responsive SRHR services
  4. Supporting adolescent SRHR before, during and after emergencies
  5. Providing holistic HIV programmes for adolescents and youth
