ICFP 2025 opened this week with powerful new evidence showing that family planning is both a lifesaving intervention and a driver of economic empowerment.

New research from WHO, The Lancet, Guttmacher, FP2030, and Rutgers reveals that global SRHR progress stands at a crossroads—where innovation and inequality collide.

“Evidence is only as powerful as the action it inspires,” said Dr. Philip Anglewicz, Director of the William H. Gates Sr. Institute.
