FPNN Media Briefing: COP 28 Preview

Nov 21, 2023

FPNN Media Briefing Series

How to Cover the Link Between Climate Change and FP and SRHR

COP 28 presents an opportunity to increase awareness about how climate change is impacting the implementation and access to family planning (FP) and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services. This yearly gathering of climate activists and leaders includes a multitude of official and unofficial events that can sometimes be difficult to navigate, and ultimately create barriers to report from afar.

This session provides the audience with the background on covering the link between climate and SRHR and finding relevant experts, stories and reports.

This virtual FPNN Media Briefing is geared towards journalists, content creators, communication professionals, and anyone who is interested in understanding how to access information on FP & SRHR topics.

The aim is to encourage the audience to create content to raise awareness and create a bigger sense of urgency on action related to the impact climate change is having on women and girls.
