Be part of a global storytelling movement for SRHR solutions
Are you passionate about storytelling, media, and communications?
The Family Planning News Network (FPNN) is assembling a dynamic team of Solutions Reporters for the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP 2025) — and we’re looking for curious, creative voices to help capture the ideas, innovations, and solutions shaping the future of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
As a Solutions Reporter, you’ll:
- Receive hands-on training in solutions journalism and community-rooted reporting
- Work alongside peers to capture, synthesize, and share solutions emerging from across ICFP — from conference halls to community spaces
- Gain mentorship and peer support through Media Lab “office hours”
- Produce engaging stories, visuals, and creative outputs that amplify diverse voices and local leadership in SRHR
- Join a global network of communicators dedicated to shifting the narrative from problems to possibilities
This is a collaborative, creative, and hands-on opportunity for people who love to listen, learn, and tell powerful stories.
We’re looking for individuals who are proactive, reliable, and eager to create — not just to attend, but to contribute meaningfully to how the ICFP community learns and connects through storytelling.
Commitment: This opportunity involves attending a one-hour Solutions Journalism training session on Monday, November 3 (prior to the ICFP Opening Ceremony), joining daily team check-ins, and producing at least one piece of content (written, visual, audio, or creative).

✨ If you’re ready to uncover and share real SRHR solutions — we’d love to hear from you!
