The Road to Bogotá is a dynamic journey of collaboration, innovation, and community engagement to drive global progress in family planning and Equity Through Action, culminating at the next International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP 2025)taking place 3-6 November 2025 in Bogotá, Colombia.
ICFP and the Family Planning News Network (FPNN) are continuing ahead on the Road to Bogotá at upcoming sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) focused events in Nigeria and Tanzania.

The ICFP Secretariat is engaging with members of the global SRHR community at the 8th Nigeria Family Planning Conference (NFPC) in a number of exciting ways.
Join the ICFP Secretariat at NFPC for ICFP Community Roundtables on 3 December 5:00–8:00 pm local time, where participants will be able to share their insights on the direction of ICFP as well as specific aspects of the global SRHR field—including advocacy, communications, program implementation, and more.
Additionally, the ICFP 2025 Power Shifting Subcommittee, led by Co-chair Goodness Odey, is hosting a power shifting pre-conference, furthering the conversations that this working group has been having about advancing equity in global health.

FPNN is working with a cohort of Community Reporters from Nigeria covering major insights coming out of the conference and its related activities. Young & Alive Summit
Partnering to Empower Youth Leadership in SRHR Advocacy

ICFP and FPNN are excited to partner with the Young & Alive Summit (YAI) to help propel young people’s impact in the SRHR field. Hosted by the Young and Alive Initiative, the YAI Summit is a vibrant platform for young leaders to engage in conversations and activities focused on health, rights, and well-being. As part of this event, ICFP is co-hosting an interactive workshop that provides practical tools, insights, and resources for advocacy within the SRHR space for youth actors. In addition, members of the ICFP Secretariat will be connecting with YAI Summit participants to discuss the upcoming ICFP 2025 abstract submission period (15 January–15 March 2025).
FPNN Community Reporters will be engaged throughout the YAI Summit, highlighting and documenting key conversations and outcomes of the gathering. Stay tuned for FPNN coverage here.
