Dr. Isseu Diop Touré

SHOPS Plus Senegal

Isseu Diop Touré is a medical doctor and public health expert in reproductive health (RH) and maternal and child health (MCH) with thirty years of experience working with the public and private health sectors in Senegal and more broadly in Francophone Countries in the WHO AFRO REGION. Dr. Toure began her career as a Médecin-Chef de District Sanitaire in Senegal then was promoted to Médecin-Chef Adjoint in the Family Planning and MCH Divisions. She has experience working with USAID both as a staff and with USAID funded projects. Dr. Toure served for nine years as a Technical Advisor in
Reproductive and Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Senegal then for six years in the WHO Regional Office for Africa based in Brazzaville Congo as a Regional Advisor on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission(PMTCT).

From August 2014 to October 2016, Dr Toure was the FHI 360 Country Director in Senegal.

The last four years, Dr Toure was the COP of SHOPS Plus in Senegal.
