Jun 25, 2024

The Family Planning News Network (FPNN) has revealed a collection of compelling reproductive health stories from the ninth African Population Conference (APC) in Lilongwe, Malawi. This year’s conference brought together advocates, demographers, healthcare professionals, and policymakers from across Africa and the world.

FPNN Community Reporters Esenam Amuzu and Innocent Grant spoke with fellow attendees to capture the essence of the conference. They dove into some of the most pressing population health issues and areas of growth of today!

Additionally, FPNN Community Host Nthanda Manduwi, from Malawi herself, connected with various figures at APC. She set the scene for the state of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in the region.
