Across Colombia: The ICFP 2025 Media Reporting Trip
In late August, ICFP and the Family Planning News Network (FPNN) convened 12 journalists and advocates for a 10-day media reporting trip across Colombia. From the hospitals of Cali to the deserts of La Guajira, the group witnessed firsthand how community-centered care, traditional midwifery, and health system innovation are shaping Colombia’s sexual and reproductive health landscape. Stories from this journey are already reaching global audiences and will culminate in a special video feature premiering at the Opening Ceremony of ICFP 2025 in Bogotá.
