Introducing the ICFP 2025 Youth Trailblazer Award Winners

Aug 19, 2024

The International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) 2025 Secretariat is excited to announce the ICFP 2025 Youth Trailblazer Award winners! These 40 exceptional young leaders, aged 18-35, were selected from over 550 global applicants for their remarkable contributions to family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

The ICFP 2025 Youth Trailblazers will play an integral role in the upcoming ICFP, taking place from November 3-6, 2025, in Bogotá, Colombia. They bring a wide range of skills, interests, and expertise spanning nearly every area of SRHR. Their active participation in the planning and implementation of ICFP, as well as their innovative ideas, will help shape the future of SRHR on a global stage

As well, each ICFP 2025 Youth Trailblazer will be part of an ICFP International Steering Committee (ISC) subcommittee, contributing to conference activities related to key topic areas such as program implementation, faith, the private sector, demographic dividend, and more.

This year’s cohort of Youth Trailblazers represents 28 countries of citizenship as well as three primary languages—English, French, and Spanish.

Representatives from the ICFP Youth Subcommittee participated in a rigorous selection process to determine this final group of award winners.
