Get to Know FPNN & JOIN
The Family Planning News Network (FPNN) is quickly becoming the frontline of SRHR reporting, driving powerful news, storytelling, and coverage from around the world. As a global platform that elevates community-driven reporting on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), engaging with FPNN opens the door to new possibilities and unexpected collaborations.
In addition to our extensive collection of community-produced content, FPNN provides training, editorial support, and fellowships to its growing network of reporters, helping them uncover untold stories, surface local solutions, and connect grassroots innovations to global platforms.
Through solutions journalism, immersive fieldwork, and evidence-based digital storytelling, FPNN is reshaping how SRHR stories are told and gathered, with a community-focused grounding and strong sense of curiosity.
FPNN will be serving as the media infrastructure for ICFP 2025 and will ensure community-driven, solutions-based coverage of what is being presented in Bogota and why the rest of the world needs to TUNE IN.

✅ What the Fellowship Includes:
- Travel and accommodation to Bogotá, Colombia (Nov 1–6, 2025)
- Complimentary ICFP 2025 Delegate Memberships (including attendance to the ICFP 2025 conference)
- Access to exclusive media briefings, interviews, and networking
🧾 Who Can Apply:
- Journalists, bloggers, influencers, or content creators
- Must have experience covering SRHR or related issues
- Proficiency in English, French, or Spanish
- Must be able to publish through recognized media platforms
- Visa may be required – apply early?
📌 Application Requirements:
- Completed application form
- Description of how ICFP 2025 will strengthen your SRHR reporting
- Two samples of recent SRHR-related work
📣 Expectations:
- Join a virtual meeting before the conference
- Participate actively throughout the conference
- Publish content about ICFP 2025 and acknowledge fellowship support
- Contribute to the Media Fellowship impact report
